Westbury Micro-LNG Plant complete

Release Date: 2011-02-17

BOC’s Westbury Micro-LNG Plant in Tasmania has been officially opened.
Gas Liquid Processing (GLP) constructed the plant, which will supply LNG as fuel for over 120 natural gas-powered heavy vehicles in the state.

GLP would like to thank BOC in selecting GLP for the design and construction of its first successfully operating micro-LNG plant in Westbury.

Over the last two years GLP has been actively developing a customised LNG plant to suit BOC/Linde Group’s own technology and meeting the strict environmental standards of Tasmania.

GLP is proud to be assisting the Tasmanian people to maintain a cleaner fuel source for the heavy transport industry.
