Momentum for Europe’s leading pan-European event dedicated to coal-fired power generation industry, COAL-GEN Europe, continues to grow with the event confirming the support of the Polish Clean Coal Technology Platform.

The Polish Clean Coal Technology Platform is made up of the main energy companies operating in Poland, and was set up with the intention to explore possibilities of commercial use of Carbon Capture Storage (CCS) technologies.

In co-operation with scientific, business and political surroundings, the Platform monitors and influences legislative processes regarding CCS in Poland and across European Union.
Jacek Piekacz, Chairman of the Polish Clean Coal Technology Platform, will be providing a keynote speech at the opening session of the COAL-GEN Europe conference on 1st September.
