PEMEX Exploración y Producción ( PEP) is one of the subsidiaries of Mexican National Oil Company PEMEX. At the international level Pemex E&P holds the third place on crude production, the first in offshore hydrocarbons production, the ninth one in crude reserves and the twelfth in incomes.
PEMEX Exploración y Producción mission is to maximize the economic value and reserves of oil and natural gas, guaranteeing safety, both for personnel and facilities, whilst maintaining harmony with the community and environment.
The company’s main activities are oil and natural gas exploration and exploitation; transportation, storage and first hand commercialization. The mention activates are carried out daily in four geographic regions comprising the total Mexican territory: North, South, Northeast Offshore and Southeast Offshore.
