VNG Norge AS
VNG Norge AS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Verbundnetz Gas AG, a German-based natural gas supplier. They are looking to establish partners and ventures in Norway via the licensing rounds.VNG Norge recently completed the acquisition of Endeavour Energy Norge AS, an Oslo-based company, increasing their number of licences to 29 and meaning that for the first time in Norway they hold assets on producing fields.
VNG as a whole is looking to source increasing amounts of its gas exports from Norway, hoping to reach 10% by 2020. This will mean that the well-respected company will be looking to increase the size of their Norwegian portfolio substantially in the coming years. VNG, a key player in the German market, will be looking to become a household name in Norway in the future.
