Subsea 7 Inc. is an engineering and construction company servicing the oil and gas industry. It focuses on the deepwater subsea umbilical, riser and flowline (SURF) sector. The Company also provides remotely-operated vehicle (ROV) and tooling services to support exploration and production activities, as well as precise navigation and positioning services. Offshore, the Company operates a fleet of vessels that provide capabilities for the development and maintenance of subsea oil and gas fields, supported by diving services, ROV services and remote intervention tooling and solutions. Onshore, the Company’s assets include the infrastructure of project management and engineering centers, pipeline spool bases and fabrication yards. As of December 31, 2008, it operated through 33 subsidiaries, joint ventures and associates.
