Syria could build its first nuclear central before 2020

According to a document released by the Inetrnational Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on February the 25th, Syria plans to build its first nuclear central before 2020. It is unknown if Syria also plans to enrich the uranium.

In May last year, Russia’s president, Dmitri Medvedev visiting Damscus announced that his country was studying the possibility to build an atomic central.
