Turkish Prime Minister visits Kremlin to discuss energy and security

Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Moscow to meet President Medvedev and Prime Minister Putin. The politicians plan to discuss strategic cooperation, mainly in the energy industry

In an official press release the Russian president’s office stated: "Turkey is the number two importer of Russian hydrocarbons in terms of volumes. Today's agenda includes such landmark projects as the South Stream and Blue Stream 2 natural gas pipelines and the construction of a nuclear power plant in the Turkish Republic."
