Easternwell Group and Australian Drilling Solutions announced their merger in January 2010, creating a national company with a range of drilling and servicing capabilities supporting the high-growth energy and mineral sectors. The company was rebranded Easternwell signalling a new era for Australia's largest drilling and servicing contractor. Later that same year Easternwell became a part of Transfield Services.
