Directorate General of Hydrocarbons of Peru
The Directorate General of Hydrocarbons is the technical body responsible for proposing policy and evaluates the hydrocarbons subsector policy, proposing and / or issuing the necessary regulations to the hydrocarbons subsector, promoting the exploration, exploitation, transportation, storage, refining, processing, distribution and marketing of hydrocarbons. It also exercises the grantor role on behalf of the state for hydrocarbon activities, as stated by law. It is hierarchically subordinate to the Deputy Minister of Energy.
