Carnarvon Petroleum Limited (“Carnarvon”) is a Perth based company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. The Company’s principal activity is oil and gas exploration and production.In December 2005 Ted Jacobson joined Carnarvon as a director and Chief Executive Officer. This appointment followed changes to the Board including the appointment of Peter Leonhardt as Chairman and Ken Judge as a non-executive director.
Ted Jacobson brings to Carnarvon his 36 years technical and commercial experience as a petroleum geologist/geophysicist. He was co-founder and technical director of Tap Oil Limited where he oversaw the company grow to a market capitalisation of $400 million.
Peter Leonhardt was formerly Chairman of Voyager Energy Limited prior to its successful merger with Arc Energy Limited. Ken Judge is an international businessman with extensive interests in mining and oil and gas companies. An active and capable Board provides an excellent blend of oil and gas, finance, commercial and legal experience.
