ANCHAR

ANCHAR Ltd. is a specialized geophysical service company founded by the initiative and encouragement of the Geological Agency of Russia, Russian Joint-Stock Company GAZPROM, the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Ministry of Industry & Science to implement a new technology of Microseismic Infrasonic Survey of oil and gas in geological exploration.

ANCHAR Ltd. offers the appraisal and prospecting survey of oil and gas in the virgin areas and areas already surveyed by seismic. The objective of ANCHAR survey is to identify the commercial oil and gas bearing of outlined and prepared for detail exploration structures. The total acreage of promising areas studied by the ANCHAR survey is as much as 50000 sq km. The prediction of oil and gas was performed for more than 300 structural and non-structural traps, and post-exploration was implemented in about 20 fields. For more than 80 prospecting and exploration targets the ANCHAR predictions were verified using deep drilling data with the confidence level of no less than 85%.
