Since its inception in 1973, Global Industries has grown from a small diving company based in Harvey, Louisiana into a leader in offshore construction in the Gulf of Mexico and around the world.In 2006 well before the announcement of the discoveries of new the pre-salt reserves, Global opened office in Rio de Janeiro and at the base in Victoria to support its first project in the country in the Espirito Santo Basin.
