Discover Petroleum AS was founded in March 2005. Having its head office situated in Tromsø, and an exploration department in Stavanger the company has currently 27 employees. The core business idea behind of Discover Petroleum is to capitalize on exclusive access to a new, state-of-the-art electromagnetic (EM) exploration tool combined with the exciting business opportunities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and environment for smaller players and newcomers.
Discover Petroleum is as a focused, new generation Norwegian E&P independent delivering out-performing value creation through unique exploration competence and application of the leading edge PetroMarker EM technology that is focusing on exploring new areas, reinventing mature areas and using new technology to reduce risk, cost and environmental impact.
