Cosalt plc is a provider of personal safety and protection services operating across Europe. It is organized into two segments: marine and offshore. Cosalt's lifesaving services range from the provision of marine lifesaving equipment to cargo vessels and passenger ships through to the total supply and management of marine safety equipment for the emergency services and local government. The Company provides inspection and maintenance services for liferafts, lifeboats, lifejackets and fire equipment. Cosalt provides bespoke offshore management packages to the oil and gas Industry taking care of all legislative and regulatory requirements for lifting, inspection and marine safety. The Company provides testing, inspection and lifting equipment services for the oil and gas industries. Cosalt Offshore, which comprises the newly acquired GTC Group, Myhre-Maritime and two existing Cosalt operations. The Holiday Homes division was disposed of on 25 October 2008.
